Porcelaine

They were used mainly for hunting hare, and are usually found in packs in France. They nearly became extinct during the French Revolution in the late 1700's; however there were enough of them for the Swiss to carry on and the breed was "reconstructed". They are found mostly found today in France and Switzerland, and are very rare in other countries.
