Located in Green Park the Gaithersburg Dog Exercise Area comprises approximately one acre of fenced land separated into two sections. The upper level is approximately 17,000 sq. ft. and has a bluestone dust-based ground cover. The lower level is approximately 43,000 sq. ft. and is grass covered. Both levels have benches, seasonal drinking water stations and dog waste bag dispensers. The lower level also has shade trees and a pavilion with seating.
