About Susan Lubcker

My name is Susan and I have been a pet sitter for over 4 years. I have had animals my whole life and cannot imagine not seeing their sweet furry face greet me at the door when I come home. I have a passion for animals and have volunteered and fostered for almost 5 years with a local cat rescue group. And I stand up for animal rights – I believe animals should be treated the same as humans.

While I love all animals, I am a cat person at heart. I have two of my own that were part of the first 4 kittens that I fostered. They are almost 6 years old now and are the loves of my life. They are sisters who certainly act like it and are named Thelma and Louise.

My family are all owned by either cats or dogs or both. Growing up we had both – my sister was always feeding the stray cats outside so we had many litters of kittens and ended up keeping most of them. I was always trying to save them when they were sick or injured.

I would like to have my own animal rescue. That’s were I got my business name from. Then I realized how much money it takes to start a non-profit so I figured I would start with a pet sitting business first.
