The Barking Lot

The Barking Lot, supported by the Downtown Memphis Commission and the owners of the property, is more than just a place to let your pooch off the leash. The pop-up park is also an art park and has a designated parking lot for food trucks, so there’s plenty for you to do while your canine plays with other dogs.

The dog park is located on what was long a gaping hole in downtown Memphis, the site of a building that burned several years ago. The hole has been fenced in, filled with dirt and covered with sod and a mulch area shaped like a dog bone. You will find benches where you can sit and socialize.
